Wanting to cure last night’s hangover, a few friends and I ventured out on a Saturday pub crawl in Williamsburg. It’d been a while since I’d explored the uber hipster (potentially obnoxious) neighborhood in the NYC’s borough of Brooklyn… so, off we went.
In seeking out cool yet unpretentious spots, we stumbled upon the kitschy-chic Cafe de La Equina and sat in their outdoor garden. The relaxed ambiance– a mix of refurbished originals with contemporary designs– was exactly what we were looking for. We played some ping-pong, shared beers and mole courtesy of their communal styled picnic tables, and soaked in what was left of the afternoon sun.
So if you’re in the area and in the mood for tasty, market-fresh cuisine with a side of delicious people-watching, head to Cafe de La Equina. And tell ’em Trish sent you!
