It was the first week of Fall in New York City and like clockwork the weather shifted– from long, hot, humid, days to chilly, drizzly, gloomy ones. Being a native Southern Californian, it’s no surprise that I long for the change in seasons. (But even if I didn’t I’m sure a New Yorker would say that I did.)

So the irony that it starts raining just minutes before I take off for a visit to sunny Los Angeles, is quite fitting. I’ll be back though…
