Before I moved to New York City, people had warned me about “the city that never sleeps.” I thought I knew what to expect– I’ve lived in London, Washington D.C., and was born and raised in Los Angeles. I’ve also spent considerable time in NYC over the last few years.
But the truth is nothing prepares you for life in Big Apple- the day in, day out, unequivocal hustle of living, working, and trying to make it in New York City. There’s nothing like it.
To make sure I had perspective despite the chaos of it all, I’d find places where I could steal a quiet, albeit fleeting, moment for myself. One  of my favorites spots to do this was this bench in the idyllic morning hours at Bryant Park, which is typically a very busy area (thanks to its prime location, restaurants, and outdoor ping pong tables).
On any given weekday before work, you’ll find me here, sipping my morning tea and Instagramming tulips. Come say hi!
