On the Trishlist: The Nomad Hotel

In my last blog post, I mentioned there was no place like NYC. That applies to a lot of different things- the hustle, the grind, the insane prices- most of which, make me miss home. But New York City’s hotel scene is the one exception to the rule. I can’t get enough!

My girlfriend recently stayed at The Nomad Hotel and invited me on a much-needed staycation. Cue room service, bath robes, bubble baths.

Designer Jacques Garcia, who designed the delectable interior, was inspired by a photograph of his apartment in Paris. The 168 rooms boast a residential  feel and are decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork.

Without a doubt, the highlight for me was the claw foot tub (my absolute favorite) next to the antique writing desk and majestic view of historic Madison Square Park. In other words, our suite was the perfect setting for a photoshoot.

And of course, after we peeled some tangerines and popped some wine bottles, that’s exactly what we did.
