Baby elephants sightings: All the feels

While on the game drives, I was surprised to see just how unfazed the animals were by the cruisers. Sure, I knew they’d be indifferent, but it amused me to realize most of the animals could care less,  minding their own business, seldomly ever turning to acknowledge our presence.

We did, however, get lucky every so often… when a baby elephant’s curiosity gifted us with a rare encounter. (Our guide also said that smaller animals are attracted to the shade that the SUVs provide on hot days.)

Unlike the animals indifference towards us, we couldn’t get enough. We   probably came across more than a dozen herds of 10+ elephants on our safari. But every time felt like the first time. It’s not something you get used to.
