It’s no secret that New York City isn’t known for its Mexican food. And if you know me, you know that it’s been the hardest thing about being on the East Coast the last six months. The little that I’ve had has been of the healthier, fresco-style, lackluster variety.
However, Maya on the Upper East didn’t fall under that umbrella. On the weekends, the upscale Mexican joint serves all the tasty classics with a bottomless mimosas option in a warm, festive atmosphere. My family and I enjoyed their brunch menu (sans libations) including their cauliflower con queso, agave pancakes, and huevos rancheros.
