Happy 100 years to our National Parks

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of my family road trips to the National Parks. How excited my brother and I would get when my parents packed up of our Pontiac 6000 STE and make the trek from our home in Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon, Death Valley and Zion.

My appreciation for recreation and conservation at such an early age most definitely stems from my parents taking us on those road trips. So cheers to the National Park Service who turns 100 years old today.

And THANK YOU Mom and Dad.
